Big Girl Bed

Macy Claire is 5 1/2 weeks old and we are going to slowly try to get her sleeping in her crib. We are starting with a nap today. She's not to sure about it, but she's giving it a try. Wish us luck!

Already a month old!

Time is flying! Macy Claire is already a month old. It's still sometimes hard to believe that such a precious little gift is ours. We have had a very exciting month. We have had lots of visitors, a few Dr. Visits, and our first road trip to Baton Rouge (she did great). We weighed her yesterday and she is up to 10lbs! I can't believe how fast she is growing. She is doing what all babies do; smiling, crying, sleeping, and pottying. She is really strong and can already hold her head up! We are working on getting in to a schedule/routine. She eats about every 2 1/2 to 3 hours and usually lets us sleep in 4 or 5 hour stretches. She actually slept for 7 hours on Friday night! I was so shocked when I woke up that it scared me a little. Scott and I watched the DVD Happiest Baby on the Block and have been implementing the tips and tricks Dr. Karp suggested for when she is fussy and they really work! It's been a great month! We are so blessed and look forward to each day with our little princess!

Two weeks old already!

Today we went to Macy Claire's 2 week old dr appt. She has gained back the weight she lost since birth and has grown half an inch! The dr said she was very alert and looked absolutely perfect.
