Macy Claire rolled over again tonight and Scott was able to catch it on video! Our precious girl is so advanced!!

 

 

2 months old

Some days I feel like Macy Claire should already be 10 (days we don't get any sleep :)) and some days I can't believe she's 2 months old already! Today is one of those days. It's hard to believe that 9 short weeks ago she came in to this world. I've been seeing a lot of posts on facebook and twitter about premie and sick children and every time I see those posts I feel like crying. I am SO thankful for our beautiful, healthy, chunky baby girl. It reminds me not to complain about sleepless nights and other trivial things.  9 weeks ago I was a wreck worried about her losing 13% of her birth weight and now we're out growing size 3 month clothes. We are so blessed.

We FINALLY got MC's newborn pictures in the mail. They turned out great!

Last month I couldn't get a picture of her eyes open, much less smiling! She's growing up so fast!

Life on the Road

Macy Claire has been a very busy girl the last two weekends. For the Fourth of July we went to Vicksburg to GrandMommy and GrandDaddy's house. We had a lot of fun! Macy Claire got to meet her Uncle Jeffrey, Aunt Ana, and cousin Gigi (Ava). Aunt Susan, Danielle, Emily, Uncle Eric, Aunt Jennifer, Hannah Grace and Hayes also came to visit as well. We had a FULL house! It was so great to see everyone and we found out some very exciting news! Ava is going to be a big sister in January! Our family just keeps growing and growing.

This weekend went to MiMi and Pop's house in Hattiesburg. Scott's brother Matt, his wife Tabitha and sweet Rylee came down too. On Saturday Tabitha, Whitney (Scott's sister) and Bailey (Scott's cousin) hosted a lovely Sip and See for Macy Claire at Scott's parents house. Tabitha is a Pastry Chef and baked the most beautiful cookies, cupcakes, and chocolate covered strawberries. Scott's mother, grandmother and aunts also came to help with the decorations and food. It was so wonderful to see and visit with everyone. We had about 25 people come over to "Sip and See" Macy Claire. She loved being the star of the show.

Our baby girl has such a wonderful family and I'm so glad we are able to spend so much time with both sides of the family.

Tummy Time!

Well tummy time turned in to playtime with mommy and daddy! Our little Macy Claire is starting to smile when we talk to her and we got some cute pictures of her today after she had her tummy time. She rolled over twice (from tummy to back)! We think she's pretty advanced! Hard to believe she'll be six weeks old tomorrow!
