4 Months Old!

Macy Claire is 4 months old! You can hear over and over and over again to savor and enjoy every minute because they go up so fast. There is no way to prepare for how fast time goes! Our little angel has turned in to the sweetest baby in the world! She laughs all the time and is always smiling, unless she's sleepy. But who isn't a little cranky when they are tired? She loves to watch Baby Einstein dvds, go on strolls around the neighborhood, and she still thinks her Daddy is the funniest thing alive. We are having so much fun watching her little personality blossom.

 She recently mastered rolling over from back to stomach and is now officially a stomach sleeper. We were so worried about her sleeping on her stomach, but she is a little pro. Speaking of sweet and sleeping, this little love bug sleeps from about 7:30pm til 6:00am! Every now and then she'll wake up in the middle of the night, but easily puts herself back to sleep easily! This makes for very happy Mommy and Daddy!!

Today we went to see Dr. Storey for her 4 month check up and she said she could not believe Macy Claire was already rolling over so well by herself. She said babies usually do not have this mastered until at least 5 months. When Dr. Storey came in MC could tell something was up. She never took her eyes off of her. Dr. Storey said that she can tell when a baby is smart and MC is smart! She sized her up from the second she walked in until she left. Macy Claire weighs 15lbs and 7oz and is in the 90% for weight, she 25 inches long and in the 75% for height, her head measured at 42cm and is in the 75% for head circumference. It looks like we may have a tall little girl!

Macy Claire and I went to Houston, TX to visit my sister last week and had a great time! She did AMAZING on the plane. She slept most of the way both times and I don't think had any problems with her ears. That was a huge relief!

Labor Day and Scott's birthday

Scott's birthday and Labor Day were this past week. We had so much fun celebrating both with friends. We went to a Labor Day cookout at the Russell's and got to go eat lunch for Scott's birthday with his dear friend John Joiner and his precious family. We spent Scott's actual birthday at home and had a special little party as a family. Macy Claire got her Daddy lots of presents and even helped him open a few.

It's "Fall" Y'all!

The start of football season has always been associated in my mind with Fall. Granted, it's still hotter than hades outside, we all like to pretend. Our little angel had her very first SEC opener last weekend with one win (TSUN) and one loss (MSU). She loved having people over and getting to play with some of her friends! She has the most adorable game day attire! I wish they made this stuff for adults. I had to explain to Macy Claire that for the next four months it is going to be very hard to get attention from her daddy. She smiled and blew spit bubbles so I guess she gets it :)
