Waiting for Macy Claire

Good Morning Everyone,

I'm starting this blog in hopes of creating a place to update and share with family and friends the progress of our growing little family. Scott and I are over the moon excited about the arrival of our sweet baby girl Macy Claire. She should be here in late May/ early June. For now I'll update you all on the progress of her nursery and other things we've been doing in preparation for her arrival.

Scott has been so great about putting all of her furniture together. I think he's become a real expert at deciphering the complicated instructions that have come with each item. We are waiting on the final piece to the furniture puzzle....the rocking chair. For some reason it has bounced all over this great country, but has not bounced to our front door yet. As soon as we get it we will be able to finally arrange her room.

I've already started nesting and washing her little clothes. Her cousins Danielle, Emily and  Hannah Grace have been so sweet and given us lots of there baby clothes to use. They are so small and precious. It has been so much fun going through them and remembering all the sweet times I had with those girls. I'm so thankful that Macy Claire is going to have 6 first cousins to grow up with and make lots of new fun memories with!

Our next Dr.'s appointment is March 11 and I'm having my glucose test. Everyone keep your fingers crossed I pass with flying colors. If you know me, you know the sight of needles makes me ill. I'm so worried about not passing and having to do the 3 hour test and have my blood taken 4 times! Eek!! We are also having another sonogram so I'll be sure to post pictures. Until then!
